Aesthetics

As a design-centric company Bentley takes its aesthetics extremely seriously. It's evident in the precise location of its quilting the selection of leather from cattle by-products, the timber from forests that are sustainably managed and the ingenious patterns that are etched on its levers. As you approach a vehicle like the Continental GT W12, its stunning design is accentuated by carefully curated lighting.

The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top vehicle. The rear of the tonneau in the Continental GT, for example was the biggest piece of dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer that was book-matched. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

It is this unique design, quality and attention to detail that have established Bentley as the world's most sought-after car brand. The company is constantly pushing the boundaries with the latest technologies and hand-crafted products. This includes the introduction of an electronic tilt-opening rear sunroof, as well as a custom-designed Apple iPad docking station.

Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019, 100 years after it was founded. The marque, now owned by Volkswagen without a partner following years of conflict with BMW, had planned a number of special events and launches to commemorate this milestone. Before the pandemic planning took the spotlight, the marque was hosting a variety of special events and launches planned to mark this milestone event.

The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors when parking in a tight space. This feature makes it easier to get into and out of your vehicle.

The key is made of vegetable tanned leather and takes two days to craft each one. It is cut by hand to shape, sewn sealed and polished to provide the highest-quality finish. It is durable, compact, and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key however, it feels heavier and has a more luxurious feel.

Bentley's distinctive design reflects the firm's values of high-quality craftsmanship and engineering expertise. It also includes modern technology. The headquarters in Crewe house more than 4,000 workers who are responsible for the design, development and production of Bentley vehicles. These workers use skills that have been handed over generations and then apply them to cutting-edge technology in the automotive industry.  bentley key  is British manufacturing at its best.

Personalisation

Bentley's Mulliner division lets customers design their own car. The customers sit at a set of images called "mood stations" and choose a selection of images ranging from scenic vistas to sporting events - that inspire them. Every time a choice is made, the pattern that emerges is the model, color and style preferences for the customized Bentley.

The resulting configuration is saved to individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys which are handed out to guests in a handmade key case. Keys are also equipped with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps which light the door's opening pathway with the owner's name or logo when they approach the vehicle.

Bentley estimates that it takes around 500 man hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. The key to this time-consuming effort is a reluctance to adopt the latest technology. Instead of using a machine to place the perfectly matched leather seats, workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. Drivers must park their cars manually, rather than using sensors built-in to direct them to perpendicular and parallel spaces.

Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization capabilities with a unique Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays tribute to founder William Osler Bentley.
